The artists
Moetu & David
They met at their design school in Paris, then joined forces in 2000 to create their digital design studio. For 20 years, Moetu & David have designed innovative, creative, and agile interactive projects for companies, brands, products, and institutions in search of a strong identity.
In parallel, they created the Anooki, two characters inspired by the Inuit, who are funny, endearing, and cheeky, and who would become their playground for creative exploration. The Anooki convey values of friendship, living together, mutual aid, complicity, and love. They communicate their good mood, soften the hearts of adults, and fascinate children. They are also true messengers for the environment. They evoke global warming with lightness and poetry, making these crucial issues accessible to everyone.
Since 2012, the artist duo has been creating sound and light shows and exhibitions of monumental statues in urban spaces: Dubai, Osaka, Singapore, Kiev, Torun, Lyon, Hong Kong, Doha, Taiwan, Shanghai, Geneva, Zagreb, Bucharest, Zurich, Beijing, Grand Rapids (Michigan)... The Anooki transform cities around the world into spaces of play and freedom.
In 2025, the Anooki entered the art gallery world. Statues and works on paper are now invited into our homes.
